CASALCO estimates that the construction sector grew by 13.5% in 2023.

The president of the Salvadoran Chamber of Construction Industry (CASALCO), José Antonio Velásquez, stated that last year, the construction sector reflected a growth of 13.5%, equivalent to $2 billion in public and private investment.
"Yesterday [Wednesday], we began working on the final closing data for 2023 because we base our analysis on official data. We could anticipate that the closing of last year will reflect around a 13.5% growth compared to 2022, which means around $2 billion in public and private investment," explained the representative of the association.
